Job Description:
The General Affair (GA) Manager will oversee all general administration and facility management activities to ensure smooth daily operations of the companys offices and data center sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, safety, and operational efficiency across all physical assets, as well as supporting employee welfare and business continuity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility and Asset Management
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of office and data center facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations.
- Manage vendors for utilities, security, cleaning, catering, and building maintenance.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems.
- Supervise space planning, office relocation, and renovation projects.
2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Ensure implementation of workplace safety protocols in collaboration with the HSE and operations teams.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure readiness for emergency situations (fire drills, evacuation plans, etc.).
- Manage company assets and ensure proper recordkeeping of licenses, permits, and insurance documentation.
3. Procurement and Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate suppliers for GA-related needs (facility services, vehicles, office supplies, etc.).
- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
- Manage asset inventories and procurement documentation in accordance with company policy.
4. Employee Support and Administrative Services
- Oversee company transportation, employee accommodation, and office support services.
- Manage canteen, pantry, and general amenities to maintain a comfortable working environment.
- Support internal events, visits, and other company-wide activities.
5. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and corporate governance.
- Manage documentation and reporting related to asset ownership, leasing, and facility permits.
- Liaise with local authorities, building management, and external partners as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Affairs, preferably in a technology, manufacturing, or data center environment.
- Strong knowledge of facility management, procurement, and government licensing processes.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple vendors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with facility management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience managing data center environments or high-security technical facilities.
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices for buildings.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
